This urban context studio focused on the physical, environmental and social conditions of the New York City site, guided by an exploration of the space projecting out of the building as a proposal for novel scenarios. Geometrically, the overall shape of my building is a dynamic form that reflects the geometry, population, and climate of the site. The initial parametric skeletal structure lends itself to a wing wall strategy, where the exterior wave-like structures guide and control winds. Additionally, a perforated screen is positioned in between each wing, allowing the wind to enter and exit this ventilated space at various points between floors. The interior spaces have a curvature that responds to the exterior structure, with terraces protruding on the north and south sides, for view and sunlight.
