When I started working for Cooke & Wax partnership i communicated to the production director about my love for making and building things, this resulted in her bringing up the suggestion that I make the office sign for our new space we recently moved into. I gladly accepted and started brain-storming some ideas. So I decided to create this sign with as little material and as cheaply as possible. This piece is made from diecut plexi and two vynil stickers which I were applied by yours truly. I wanted to create a 3D effect without getting too technical.
The vinyl stickers are applied directly onto the wall and then the acrylic pieces are placed over registering the position of the original logo. Since the treatment of the X's in the original logo use transparencies I overlayed four pieces of translucent plexi on top of each other.
