• For the high-end cheese packaging, I wanted to design an identity which can be recognized at first sight.
    It names CASCADE. It relates to nature, water and stone and brings to mind the times when animals relax in nature which allows them to produce the best quality cheese. The figure of the stone symbolizes the strength and high quality found in nature. It is also related to cascades. The tone and texture of stone both inspires and contrasts the consistency and the smell of cheese.
    The logo is inspired by the typeface on monuments and tombs. Using golden foil enhances the quality. Three packages are arranged in different stone shapes. But they can be displayed connected to each other to show in the same family.
