  • Working in Maya, starting with a modeling exercise of Tony Smith's sculpture "Duck", this form was manipulated through shearing and reconnecting of parts to create a new original form. This new form was then sectioned and the layers from the inside were animated to come out and reconnect back as to lose the sense of inside and out of the form. Throughout the class we worked with rendering these objects in Maxwell Studio and practicing the graphic presentation thereof -- as the goal was to gain experience in modeling, rendering and representation
