Invisible Protests

This project collects images coming from Venezuelan protests and displays them in real size in a different physical context. This series bridges the geographical gap that separates Venezuela and NYC to pose the question "What if this happened in your country? Would it matter then?".
  • Using the custom-built Arduino Light Printer to create an image.
  • "Invisible Protests, the culmination of Zaks' thesis, took the Venezuelan protests to the streets....
Zaks transported and translated the contemporary Venezuelan fervor to NYC, resulting in a series of augmented-reality images that impress upon viewers the gravity of the situation at hand."
  • This is an ongoing project.
