1. Fragrance Package and poster design for Frederic Malle’s perfume. According to the specific fragrance “Vetiver Extraordinaire” that focuses on the root of the ingredient and the earthly smell, I made a typographic logo that has roots. Then, I designed a packaging that has a raw and rough feeling by showing each letter of the type that became dirt falling down when the root-logo is being pulled out. (The letters hanging under the logo is the perfumer’s name.) For the colors, I used colors that represent the brand and the specific perfume. In addition, the two posters keep the same idea in an expressionistic way advertising the fragrance.
2. Process Book for the Vetiver Fragrance Packaging. Starting with the four kinds of ideas of the typographic brand identity related to the fragrance itself, the process book shows the combination of the logo sketches followed by layer and package design ideas. At the end, there are two kinds of poster design advertising the characteristics of the newly finished design.
