Damara Kaminecki dwells in a tiny apartment where she sleeps atop her flatfiles and carves linoleum deep into the night. She spent her formative years in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, IL drawing in the margins of her notebook. In 2004 she received a B.F.A. from Pratt Institute in New York City in Drawing. In 2011 she decided it was time to see the world and spent about 2 years working, traveling, and falling in love with South East Asia.
